FAQ

Questions you may have

How much is the fee, and are instalments and invoices available?

Pricing model: Proposal tailored to your organisation. What drives the fee: Number of participants, number of target countries and regions covered, online or in person. The fee, instalment and invoicing options are shared in writing after the intro call.

Are there any prerequisites for this training?

There are no specific prerequisites for this training. However, it will be most useful for professionals who actively work in the health tourism sector and interact with international patients.

Can the training content be customized to our institution's target market?

Yes. The training content can be customized to the specific markets and patient profile your institution targets. For in-house training, a needs analysis meeting is held beforehand to identify your current and target markets, and the cultural dynamics of these markets are examined in detail. For example, if your institution mainly serves the Middle East and the Gulf countries, the cultural characteristics, communication styles and patient expectations of these regions are covered. Your institution's own case examples and challenges are also built into the training content to develop directly applicable solutions. Please contact us for customized training.

Is adapting to different cultures worth the effort? Wouldn't a standard approach be more efficient?

By its nature, health tourism is a sector with high expectations for personalized, high-quality service. Research shows that healthcare institutions that deliver services aligned with cultural expectations gain significant advantages in both patient satisfaction and financial performance. A standard approach may seem easier operationally, but it does not create the differentiation that helps you stand out in international competition. Cultural adaptation may require extra effort and resources at first, but in the medium and long term it delivers higher patient satisfaction, lower complaint rates, stronger referral marketing and, ultimately, higher revenue and profitability. Cultural adaptation also does not mean building entirely different processes for every detail; even fine adjustments at strategic points can make a big difference.

Should this training be rolled out to all departments of the institution at the same time?

Ideally, developing cultural competence is an approach that should be embraced at every level of the institution. In practice, however, starting with the departments in direct contact with patients and gradually extending it across the institution is a more effective strategy. We recommend that international patient coordinators, reception staff, sales and marketing teams, patient relations specialists and healthcare staff who interact closely with patients during treatment attend the training first.
