This notice is an English summary for convenience. The Turkish Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni) published at /kvkk/ is the binding version. If the two differ, the Turkish text prevails.
Data controller
Your personal data is processed by Ahmet Yardımcı Academy (NARTER EĞİTİM VE DANIŞMANLIK LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ) as data controller under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). We take the processing, protection and security of personal data seriously.
Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following categories of data:
- Identity data: name and surname and, where required for invoicing or contracts, other identity details.
- Contact data: phone number, email address and postal address.
- Professional data you share: organisation and job title, and the content of your messages, event registrations and check-up answers.
- Financial data: invoicing and payment details when you purchase a service.
- Marketing data: website visit history and the source of your visit (for example UTM parameters and ad click IDs), subject to our cookie policy.
- Request and complaint data: information collected through our website, social media and other online channels.
- Visual and audio records: photos and recordings from our events and training, where applicable.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and similar information collected automatically when you visit the website.
Purposes
We process personal data to:
- answer your requests and provide our training, consulting and event services,
- manage customer relationships, requests and complaints, and after-sales support,
- register you for webinars and events and send you the related information,
- send you updates, newsletters and announcements where you have given consent,
- measure and improve our website and marketing activities,
- run our finance, accounting, contract and legal processes and meet our legal obligations,
- ensure information and physical security and business continuity.
Legal bases
We process personal data on the legal bases set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, namely:
- your explicit consent,
- where processing is expressly permitted by law,
- where it is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of a person who cannot give consent,
- where it is necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you,
- where it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations,
- where you have made the data public yourself,
- where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right,
- where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Transfers
In line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, personal data may be shared with our suppliers, service providers, data processors and legally authorised public bodies, limited to the purposes above. The main service providers used on this website are:
- Zoho CRM (EU data centre), to manage enquiries and customer relationships,
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), to measure website use and advertising, with your consent,
- Meta (Meta Pixel and Conversions API), to measure advertising, with your consent,
- our email service provider, to send confirmations and messages you request.
Because some of these systems store data outside Türkiye, transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK, the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board and the applicable regulations, with the necessary security measures in place.
Retention
We keep personal data for no less than the statutory limitation period of the legal relationship concerned and generally for 10 (ten) years. Physical security records are kept for 1 (one) month. When the period ends, or upon your request, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the KVKK and related regulations. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time, except for data we are legally required to process.
Your rights under KVKK Article 11
You have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about the processing,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7,
- request that corrections and deletions are notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred,
- object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Applications are concluded as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
